Was late in releasing the car after service. I have had to wait despite of given the time 4.30pm

My vehicle service was all done as requested , and the car was cleaned before it was returned to me.The uncleaned courtesy car let the overall experience down though.
The car came back sparkling and shiny ,thank you,however the windows were awful, especially in the sunshine and had to be cleaned again . The tyre pressure monitor was also flagging up the pressure was low, this happened after last years service too.

I was told when I booked the car in it would only take around 30minutes so I didn't arrange a lift or courtesy vehicle only to be told on arrival it would be 2/2.5 hours to complete the work

Although the car was primarily booked in for its first MOT, it had also developed a fault with the Connected Drive which had decided to randomly reboot throughout recent journeys. Problem fixed and the car returned in pristine condition.
Overall very good but I had to phone twice to check that the repairs booked in for would be completed on schedule
Our BMW 520 was recalled for work on Exhaust gas recirculation. Part had to be ordered and a courtesy car was provided so that we could collect our car next day
In the past, I have had a mixed level of Service from Dick Lovett. It has been so bad in the past I have complained. On this occasion, it was perfect. The service rep (Kieran) was polite, informative and kept pertinent comms with me throughout.
My appointment time of 13:00 hours was not satisfied, 40 minutes later I challenged why my car had not moved from where I parked it. To be told (with attitude) they had rearranged it for 14:00 hours without consulting me was unreasonable.
Great service, once again. Picked the car up and returned it promptly.

Mad failures into success
Work was carried out. I was informed of results and car given health check. And courtesy car provided.
It took twenty five minutes to get the car around to me . It had had a service wash which made the car worse than when I dropped it off then to be told it was a courtesy I would rather they hadn't bothered
Service adviser had to be asked as to what peripheral components had to be removed and replaced for the recall tasks to be carried out that would then allow me to monitor over the next month or so should an issues arise.
Recall work done and correction and remedy for emissions warning light. All done well and I was kept informed of the process and what would happen next. Staff courteous and very good customer service. Special mention for Thomas Sigee, service advisor
Every time I use Dick lovett in Swindon they have let me down on either not completing work to a satisfactory condition or fulfilling their promises. I've raised this before but have seen no improvements
Everybody did what they needed to do to make it a good experience
The service I received was good, the only reason I had down scored my experience was the fact my car was ready for at least 30 mins before I given it back.
Was advised that I had a cracked alloy wheel. Was not given the option of getting it repaired & told I needed a new wheel costing £700. I have since had the wheel repaired elsewhere for £80.
Friendly and efficient service
I am very disappointed in the fact that I could've had an accident and not been able to prove this because of the behaviour of the engineer .

The offside rear tyre has a lot more wear on it than the remaining tyres which came to light when the car inspection followed my purchase in Dec 2017.I was told the car was 100% when I collected it.it seems odd that this wear didn't attract action!
they do what they say they will do and alwaysgive excellent help and support inn the care of my car. My only comment is that the complimentary cleaning of the car tends not to live up to all the rest of the Service. It was less than good.

The actions taken by the dealership went no way to eradicate the problem, they felt it was a bacterial issue which we do not. This has been present since purchase.
I'd have given a 5 but felt that my annual mileage and driving style were not taken into consideration when being advised that my rear tyres were near needing replacement.

2 days after an oil service, there was no oil left in my car, as indicated to me by the vehicle status. I then had to take the car back for repair and my house drive now has oil leak marks on, very unpleasant.

Waiting appointment and I had to remind service advisor I was still waiting 40 minutes after I had seen my car had returned from the workshop.
Everything went smoothly with courtesy and all my questions and queries answered and addressed.
On point of order very little detail was taken or written down. I ordered a dash cam which was not fitted even thou i had to wait 3 weeks delivery. Plus many phone calls from the salesman to go over items i had believed i'd ordered at origin.
I've been to many car garages of other brands but Dick Lovett Swindon was by far the best. The service received was second to none. Especially from Mark Stonham. They certainly look after you.

There was a slight hitch, due to incorrect number plates being printed; however, everyone helped to ensure that the issue was overcome, and I was able to drive my new car home.
Spot on. Car was waiting for us in all its glory on arrival. It was on show in the showroom, making the whole experience extra special. Nice touch from Dick Lovett in filling the car up for us also.
James showed us around the car and how to set things up best for us . And if there was anything else after we took the car away just to give him a call
Some delays with delivery and first contact person was late to respond to messages/call backs. Always felt like he had other more important things to sort. But once Luke took over it was much better. Great service and communication- poles apart!
